Rose Street Theatre

Our client purchased the former Rose Street Church building, constructed in 1912, with the dream of turning it into a new theatre and performing arts centre. The converted building features 5 performance spaces – a 340 seat main hall, a basement space for 130, a Cabaret Bar for 300, a 100 seat studio and an attic with a capacity of 50. The theatre benefits from a number of period and listed features, so care was taken during the design process to ensure the integrity of these was maintained, particularly when accommodating large items such as staging.
