With stunning sea views from a sloping site on the edge of North Berwick, our client’s existing property did not make the most of its incredible location.
During the design phase it became clear that knocking down and replacing the existing property would be the most economical option and also provide the most design potential.
Within the new home a main entrance space doubles as a dining area, ensuring wasted corridor space is kept to a minimum. Glazed gables and terraces now take full advantage of the striking views.
Utilising the site topography, practical spaces like the double garage, boot room, and utility were dug into the slope and tucked away under the main kitchen and living space.
