Vision, coupled with a good dose of optimism, was required to convert the former garage lockup on a back lane in Edinburgh’s West End into a slick urban coffee shop. In addition to navigating the statutory approvals, we worked closely with the client on the interior specification and flow of the premises, designing bespoke elements to make the most of the available space. The result was a thoughtful, clever space that worked on both a practical and aesthetic level.
