Following our work on the original Waverley Arches conversion, Staran completed the Edinburgh Gin distillery and visitor centre in December 2024. The centre, which incorporates existing listed arches and a large new build element, and features a roof terrace with incredible views over Waverley train station, and a new public staircase connecting Jeffrey Street with Cranston Street below. This bold, three-storey site is a key tourist attraction within the city. This project won the silver medal for Commercial Building of the year in the Scottish Design Awards 2025.
